Our method of upgrading your traditional sash windows is to renovate and repair the existing box frames where possible. We then introduce new, fully finished double glazed sash's, made from Accoya Timber. Designed to last 50 years, achieving "class 1 durability" surpassing even teak, virtually rot proof, and obtaining a 70 year minimum service life stated by TRADA.

We offer our sashes with three options of energy saving glass, low e double glazed units, with warm edge spacer bar and argon gas filled cavities. Low e units with antique crowne glass to the outer face to keep the windows traditional distorted appearance, and Fineo Vacuum glass, at only 8mm thick but offering the same energy efficiency as triple glazing.

This method makes sure that none of the existing mouldings or decor of your box frames are removed,  minimising disturbance and re-decoration. The new sash's are specifically made to accept double glazed units.
